There’s probably no other field of study that will open your eyes to other possible worlds than social anthropology.

Social anthropologists produce ethnography, research and writing based on long term participant observation living amidst the people they write about. These ways of knowing about the world can be revolutionary. Here’s a few reflections from Alpa on ethnography - especially participant observation - and how it makes us question the ways in which we see the world; produce knowledge that is new, was confined to the margins, or was silenced.
